Verbaprompt was founded to increase medication compliance, reduce medication errors and costs. The Verbaprompt medical reminder service provides positive, programmed, education messages to patients with chronic conditions. These messages are designed to help those in need of care take their medications or perform other medically necessary tasks, including activities of daily living. Messages are designed to be delivered via home phone, cell phone, alphanumeric pager, e-mail or TTY and can prompt responses to monitor the health of the patient. Specifically, the Verbaprompt reminder system can be designed to meet the individual needs of those in need of care to accomplish the following:
- Call patients to remind them of medication administration or other medical tasks at appropriate times of day.
- Educate and empower the patient about medical needs, medication responsibility and encourage a strong relationship with physicians.
- Monitor and document responses to medication and report adverse drug responses to designated caregivers and physicians.
- Report occurrences of non-compliance to designated caregivers and physicians.
- Maintain patient triage information on our secure system at all times for patient, primary physician and emergency medical use.
In addition to these services, the following notification tools are also provided:
- STICKERS for the patient's front and back door directing emergency personnel to the customer's emergency medical triage information.
- MAGNETS with further direction for triage information.
- WALLET CARDS with contact information to access emergency triage information.
- KEYCHAIN ID: which also has contact information to access emergency triage information.
